Announcement of Dates, Venues and Information for Apollo Projects Junior Festivals
We are stoked to confirm the dates and venues for the 2023 Apollo Projects Junior Festivals that will take place across four zonal locations in the first two weekends of November.
There has been one venue adjustment, with the Aquaknights festival being held at the St Peter’s School in Cambridge, with the outdoor pool set to add to the festival atmosphere across the weekend.
With the Junior Festivals focused on celebrating personal bests and improvement, we are excited to be continuing to offer these events around the country and helping swimmers to make every stroke count. There will be ribbons for achieving PBs to help start the summer with a fun racing opportunity. We can't wait to see our junior swimmers racing at the festivals.

The summer will also see a great opportunity for swimmers to trial for the World Aquatics Championships in Doha. This competition will be open to all swimmers aged 13+ to participate in, so a great racing opportunity for our age and senior swimmers as well. More details are being confirmed over the coming weeks, but the event will be hosted from Friday 10 – Sunday 12 November at the National Aquatic Centre in Auckland. This will be a crucial event for those hoping to qualify for Doha and building toward Paris.
