Race Ready Skills Clinics

Swimming NZ is proud to offer skills clinics designed to have kids completing Learn to Swim to learn race skills. The clinics will focus on dives, turns and speed, hosted by Aquablack and Heretaunga Sundevils coach Willy Benson.

The clinics will be focused on stroke and skills development in a fun environment for 1 hour.

What's Included

The Dive Start Clinics will be held alongside the 2024 Apollo Projects NZ Age Group Swimming Championships shortly after a Have A Go Meet so kids can give racing a try. The participants will learn skills across the three 1-hour sessions so they are better equipped to give swim races a go and help prepare them to join a local swim club as they complete Learn to Swim.

How To Get Involved

The clinics are designed for students nearing the completion of Learn to Swim who are interested in learning the skills to help them give racing a go.

Spots are limited in each location to 25 participants each clinic, so please don’t wait to register as it is first in best dressed.
