As our national long course season ends, we now look forward to the 2022 Apollo Projects New Zealand Short Course Swimming Championships that are being held at the Sir Owen. G. Glenn National Aquatic Centre, Auckland on August 23-27.
Due to the ongoing hardship the NZ swimming community have faced with Covid-19, we have decided to accept the use of a development meet times for the final time for swimmers to qualify for this year’s short course championships. We continue to encourage clubs to provide racing opportunities whenever they can in the lead up to these championships.
Swimming New Zealand are excited to announce the Apollo Projects Junior Festivals will return in November. Taking place on the following dates:
Harlequins
5 – 6 November, Sir Owen. G. Glenn National Aquatic Centre, Auckland
Makos
4 – 6 November, Moana Pool, Dunedin
Aquaknights
11 -13 November, Waterworld Te Rapa, Hamilton
All Stars
11-13 November, Wellington Regional Aquatic Centre, Wellington
