Tickets are Now On Sale for the 2024 Apollo Projects NZ Swimming Championships



We are pleased to announce that tickets for the 2024 Apollo Projects NZ Swimming Championships are now on sale and available for purchase.

 

Don’t miss any of the action as our top NZ swimmers meet at the Hawke’s Bay Regional Aquatic Centre from Tuesday 9 – Saturday 13 April as they try to Unlock Their Greatness and qualify for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris. There is no better place to soak up the atmosphere than to be there in person and help cheer our swimmers on to the team.




Fresh from their success in Doha, World Champions Erika Fairweather and Lewis Clareburt will be in action in their favourite events as they look to be primed to take on the best in the world in Paris.

 

Paralympic Champions Cameron Leslie and Tupou Neiufi will be swimming their best events to qualify their position on the Paralympic team. Commonwealth Games Gold Medallists Josh Willmer and Andrew Jeffcoat will be hoping to secure selection for Paris.

 

Hawke’s Bay local Emma Godwin will be aiming to qualify for her first Aquablack team.

 

Each day has must-see events and our swimmers need your passionate cheering and support to help them Earn The Fern. Check out some of these must-watch races for each night below.


Day 1 - Tuesday 9 April

Day 2 - Wednesday 10 April

  • Women’s 200m Freestyle (World Champs Silver Medallist Erika Fairweather and 4 x 200m Freestyle Relay spots)

  • Men’s 100m Backstroke (World Champs Semi Finalist Andrew Jeffcoat)

Alongside the event we will be offering opportunities for the local community to meet their heroes and get active in the competition pool, watch this space for more details over the coming weeks.

 

This is your chance to be part of the action and be there to help our swimmers Unlock Their Greatness. Heats get underway at 10am and final at 5.40pm each day.
