Members Recognised For Service to our Swimming Community
We are thrilled to announce the recipients of our Swimming NZ Recognition Awards for 2024.
This year we are recognising 35 members of our community who provide outstanding service that enable our sport to operate at all levels across the country. For a further breakdown, we are awarding Service Awards to 22 individuals, 12 Distinguished Service Awards and one Exemplary Service Award.
Swimming NZ’s Chief Executive, Steve Johns, expressed his gratitude of thanks to those recognised this year.
“I'd like to congratulate and thank each of the recipients of our recognition awards this year. Our sport wouldn't be possible without the time, effort and support of these members. Thank you to all those who give so much to help our swimmers have the opportunity to race.”
Johns also acknowledged those who submitted nominations for this year.
"Being able to recognise 35 people this year is comfortably our largest cohort in years. Thank you to those who took time to nominate these members and help us recognise those who contribute to swimming throughout New Zealand."
Congratulations to all of the recipients of awards. Please view the full list for each respective award below.
