We recently had 4 officials representing New Zealand at the FINA World Championships in Budapest. We would like to congratulate them for their appointments and their involvement at the competition, we know you represented our country with pride once again.

Grow Your Officiating Career
Whilst this is on the international scene, our officials are integral in the delivery of our sport. It’s a great vantage point to see the swimming from, and it is a great way to be involved and support your club and the swimmers. Whether you are aspiring to follow in the footsteps of our officials listed above internationally, or you would like to help at the local competitions for your club and region, we have an opportunity for you to kickstart or upskill your officiating journey.
We are hosting a FINA School for Officials prior to the upcoming 2022 New Zealand Secondary School Swimming Championships in Hamilton, with the school taking place on Wednesday 27 – Thursday 28 July.
The school is designed to achieve:
Promoting more people to get involved as officials and enhance the quality of existing officials
Consistent interpretation and application of swimming rules to raise the quality of officiating
Continuing to promote swimming in New Zealand

Cost: Free to attend, registrations close at 12pm on Friday 8 July
