Carlrine Gillespie, Swimming NZ's Technical Official & Volunteer Development Lead, is excited about working with the new committee.
"We are excited to welcome back five members for their second term, while welcoming three new faces to the Technical Advisory Committee. It is another diverse group, with a variety of experience levels and some fresh perspectives. Collectively, we are committed to continuing the development of our officiating community while exploring new ways to attract and support the next generation of officials."
Gillespie paid tribute to the outgoing members.
"I also want to sincerely thank the 'retiring' members – Dawn Dutton, Jasmine Hardy Mills and Yvonnette Fox – for their valued contributions and support over the past three-plus years. Together, the committee has achieved a great deal, and I am grateful for everything they have contributed."
While these eight members have been appointed for the three-year term, the committee may also call on others from the officiating community to provide expertise, support and feedback as required.
